A wordless narrative about a visual artist trying to make a progressive attempt at a new piece. They try and try as the line between thought to action gets increasingly blurrier.
I feel like within the creative headspace, there exists a period when you haven’t made something or perhaps you’re between projects, where thinking about an idea can start to replace the act of actually doing it. This tricks your brain into thinking your making progress, when in reality you’re stagnate.
Throughout the short I transitioned between a neutral brown gray to represent static periods, to sequences of saturation to show idealized progress.
