“Icarus’ Song”, by Elijah Dallas is a submission to the official NPR Tiny Desk contest hosted every year.

This was our second time submitting to the contest, with this one using a song Elijah made just for the video. We were lucky enough to shoot at the KXLU radio station which made for a perfect and fitting aesthetic.

We chose to transition from a traditional 16×9 aspect ratio into 4×3 to have a literal and visual form focus as the engineer sets the sound booth and the band begins to play.
